Old Friends...

She walked
into our kitchen,
and into our hearts,
and began helping me
to make lunch,
as if she had done so,
hundreds of times before...

husbands and wives
only meeting for the first time...
sharing stories,
and loves, and children,
and the turns in the path
of life
that are sometimes difficult,
sometime joyful,
but real,
like holding hands at dinner,
or sharing good food at lunch...

Dsc02152

or surprises...

Dsc02143

from someone who only knows
your blogging face,
yet picks one of your favorite colors,

Dsc02145

knowing the way to the mandala

of your heart...

Thank you AnnieElf and Don for stepping off from your Slow Moving Train to spend the weekend looking at the scenery with us, and for the delight of your company!!! May this time bring deeper connections with all you hold dear as you step back on that train and travel the road ahead.

Just GREAT!
Isn't Bloglandia amazing?
That gift that Annie gave you is a total 10 in my book. I love, adore it!!

I've met a number of online friends over the years, and it always amazes me how strong a connection you can forge with someone before you've ever even met, so that that first meeting is more a greeting of long lost old friends than anything else.

AnnieElf, I haven't read your blog before, but I'm sorry for your heartache and will head over there now to lend an ear in support.

PS GORGEOUS dinner set. I think I need a friend like AnnieElf too!

How wonderful! She looks like an elf too!!! And that dinner set is magnificent!!!

Hi Lea, It is late Sunday night and we are home from our wonderful walk in your world. I'm uploading pictures, composing my thoughts, and sadly integrating more heartache. The hits just keep on coming. More about that will appear in my blog tomorrow. In the meanwhile - Love, hugs, and bon voyage. Annie
