Into the Garden...
Into the garden this earth day...

every day,
every moment sinking into this body
this matter blossoming...
that moves
touches,
ripples in the breeze...
spiraling,
and casting shadows...
Into the garden this earth day...
the heart beats...
and sap runs
and peonies bud...
open,
and dazzle the sun...
I curl up in the warmth
and watch ladybugs...
unrecognizable...
disguised as they shed primal skins...
becoming red wonder of flight
that defies gravity...
and I breathe beauty...
tiny creature that I am...
nestled on this giant ball spinning
endlessly through space...
stopping for just a moment
to sing of life
incredible,
into the garden this earth day...

Sorry I haven't been around in ages! We've been superbusy and unfortunately my blogging world was put on hold for awhile. I'm hoping it's not a pattern and I get to visit more often ;)

Your garden and flowers are beautiful. Such a great Earth Day treat.
I spent Earth Day with a new Icelandic friend that I met through Constance of Rochambeau. She is a Doll Artist...The amazing thing is that my Mother knew her Aunt who died from Cancer last year...and had met her Mother.
It's small world.

Happy, happy belated earthday, Lea.
I spent mine in NYC looking at Macys window displays, full of empty plastic bottles, crushed and made into bales with clothing displayed on top. Also, shoes displayed on tons of empty white pill bottles.
Quite effective I might add.
Your garden is magnificent.

What a wonderful treat it is to see your garden in bloom. We're so far behind you...this year especially...so it's a tonic for the soul to see your lovely blossoms. The peonies have a soft and graceful beauty that never fails to fill my heart.
